Sorry about this Wanta, but i've had to make a couple changes to my list because I've started to like certain songs a bit more and more as I listen to them. Especially "Wild Man" by Kate Bush and "Video Games"

This is the honest-to-god final version though.

I go to 50 here, but don't count the positions past 25.

No change to my albums list. I'm fairly satisfied with that one.

Seriously guys, I really love this song. Really happy with how many lists I've seen "50 Words for Snow" on

my list won't qualify for treefingers because it has comps and eps and all of that, but if anyone cares here's a look, all complete with smart alec one liners

yeah it's the first year since 2007 i've listened to more than 200 albums from. usually im happy if i can make time for 50-100 albums a year. 2008-2010 i was busy catching up on older shit + delving into international musics

2011 was just that good, and though i listen to a lot, i'm still pretty niche in my preferences. my list is nowhere close to being representative of how much good music was being made all year long

Awesome list! I can't wait to check out some of those in your top 50! Again, loved loved AIA, nice on Drawn and Quartered too.

What would you compare Night Birds to?

Can't get over how clutch that list is.....

it's just very well written hardcore punk with a strong surf influence, especially on the riffs.

and thanks man! you should look into anything that has a genre/description that fits your bill, who knows what you may find great. i haven't really ordered my list accurately beyond the top 50

Yeah, I'll get on it as soon as What.cd finishes with this BS. Seriously, going on two weeks soon.

Epic list, Rashed. It does a better job at getting me to want to listen to certain albums than most webzines, etc., but that's probably because I think you have a seemingly unparalleled great taste in music ha. Did you get to St. Vincent's Strange Mercy? What did you think? I thought the singles were pretty excellent, but I've heard mixed things about the album itself.

so Wanta, is there a deadline where you're gonna stop collecting lists?

btw, RYM has started to ban users who post Mediafire/Megaupload files on their lists, so if you're gonna compile something, post it here rather than there.

Is it too late to turn in a list?

Wanta hasn't set a deadline yet, actually. You might want to PM him.

Every time I try and post my lists I get a general error?

Might be an issue with the font or special characters in your list. Try converting it to plain text first if that's possible.
