I love Oneirology. It's cohesiveness and use of samples make me think of it as a Prog Hip-Hop album, which is far more awesome than such a fusion could ever appear on paper.

What drew me to him initially was his unique delivery. I just like hearing someone who sounds that excited to be holding a microphone. I keep coming back to XXX for the dark humor.

i have some glaring omissions yeah : /. tom waits, winged victory for the sullen, the necks, mikal cronin and a bunch of comps could have all made the cut. thing is these lists are only a snapshot from a certain moment, glancing over it i feel like changing a lot of the positioning already

oddly enough, ive listened to like 10-15 albums from this year, and its june already. fml. the whole megaupload takedown and filesharing getting harder has actually made me download a bit less now that i think about it (the bastards have won?). but im sure all the shit i need is out there, i have to just stop being lazy

just to reiterate, i only gave it 5 stars because the 6 star option is unavailable. that album is post-music as far as i'm concerned, it's more powerful than pindrop silence
