I haven't heard the show yet, so I'll review later. The setlist looks great though.

Berliner cm-33 mics - http://flipp.home.telepath.com/CM33/DSC00368.JPG
Littlebox amp - http://www.naiant.com/images/480_littlebox_480.JPG
Tascam dr-07 recorder - http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/4 ... AA300_.jpg

My gear is quite cheap compared to the other tapers in the area but sound wise my recordings have been just as good. the Berliner mics aren't very popular, not many people using them for live recordings. I took a risk on them and it payed off, they sound great

Your download was taking way too long for me, but fortunately I found this:

Sounds great!

My internet isn't the fastest plus the file is around 1 gb (flac files). There are close to 15 (or more) different sources for this show. You shouldn't have any problem grabbing mine now that theres a lot of seeders. One of the tapers was taking pictures but hes catching tonight and tomorrows shows also so it will be a few days before I get the pictures from him.

Did you click on the vimeo link? I don't need to download it now. A guy who streams an aud of every show they play this tour picked your aud to stream. It is definitely an above average recording, especially for someone who is relatively new to recording concerts. I was very pleasantly surprised. I listened up to Backwards Down the Numberline today, and will finish the rest. The second set is a doozey.

I've heard good things about Rock and Roll>Ghost so I'm look forward to that.

That's not my recording on the link. That's Derek's recording, hes using a completely different setup than I have. All his info is listed below the setlist. He was the first one to post his recording and that is where the audio on the video came from. Mine wasn't posted till later in the afternoon. The audio is def good on that one, hes using a high dollar rig. It really all depends on the venue for the sound because mine doesn't sound that much different than his. We were all set up in the same spot as well.

Rock and Roll > Ghost was very good

but yeah all the reviews i've read say it's one of the best shows of the tour so far (and best setlist). So it looks like I picked a good show to go to. The previous show in Atlanta got delayed cause of a nasty thunderstorm...heard that both those shows weren't the best but they fired it up in Charlotte.

They seemed to be more rockin than the live stuff i've heard in the past

Yah, good show. It's up there as the best of the tour. I'd put probably a couple of other shows in its league (6/3 and 6/4 are both top notch). It had a couple of rarely played tunes that the other shows didn't have, but those are kinda gimmicky (imo) and I'd rather just hear a normal well-played song. Also, regarding the below:

About 99% of Phish fans would disagree (including myself), but it's all about perception. Either way, it's hard to compare an actual concert experience to listening to a recording.
