Rob, you would do great singing some Screaming Trees or any Mark Lanegan stuff...

Screaming Trees is a very underrated band of the Grunge era, for me Mark Lanegan had the best low tone from that time, much better than Vedder or Cornell. I recommend everyone to get Sweet Oblivion (1992) or Dust (1996) and the legendary Mad Season album.

My bad, my bad :durr: :durr:

Damn bro! Great tone bro, i really would appreciate a toned down vibrato version  The only thing i didn't like that much was the falsetto section in the ?chorus?. But i really like that low tone, didn't knew you could sing that way :)

Feedback time:

Slopternate: At the beginning of it you really sounded like Tate but like Beast said: Eyes of a Stranger much like 90% of Tate's material is tough as nails to sing, but i liked your voice. It would be great to hear you singing some great mid chest stuff, and without so many edits you know? If there's one thing i like it is live voice :thumb:

Great "looking back at meeeeeeeeeeee" note, i'm awful with closed vowels like that, but you did a great job.

Rob:

Things...: To my ears man, you sounded like you didn't wanted to sing that song  I never heard the original, and i don't know if the original song is like that, but it sounded like that. BTW, i'm loving your lows, straight up Cornell dude :thumb:

Rollercoaster: I liked this one better, it sounded more melodic, a bit like AIC Jar of Flies-type of thing.

Dude, do you drink? or smoke? That shit maybe what's causing this to you. I have allergies and don't spend that much time with my voice sounding weird. If you do, stop or do it less.

Huh? So I sound that weird, eh? Like ass? I think it must be allergies, because my lifestyle is completely healthy.. Why does it sound like I didn't want to sing it? I love that first song. The vocal melody is actually really tricky, so I guess it didn't translate super well acapella, here, listen.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pRO3wBQmaY Is it just the melody?

I'll try some Screaming Trees songs today. I think my voice has gotten slightly heavier today, my mother is still convinced that it's seasonal allergies and I'm trying to remain hopeful. My voice has definetly gotten blended better into my head, and I've been using less air to actually SING high without having to belt for two or three hours like I used to, so that might be doing something too. lol

And I agree that the falsetto wasn't bad, but uneccessary for that song, you should've just kept it nice and low. Sounded really great..

I don't have any new PMs.. <_<

I mean, I still think my voice sounds like shit all of the sudden for some reason, I guess time will hopefully tell what's going on. I'll do a ST song tommorrow, I'm so tired..

i get all the comments you guys made, but have you heard the original ? it has even crazier vibrato, and the falsetto section is very similar...its supposed to be eclectic.....

Rob - will hear your stuff tomorrow ... away from home currently .....

Just listened the recent recordings....

Hieroglitch - I didn't hear anything wrong with that, good job. But every time you post you either say your sick or your voice is screwed up. No need to lower expectations like that always.

Victor - I liked it, keep on writing!

Slop - It seemed liked you were struggling with control a bit on the highs but i liked the tone, overall well sung

Thanks! It's not really the highs themselves, more the bridging that's hard about this song.

Listening to this and loving it, seriously. You totally NAILED the melody, and it even had a certain 'mystical' feel to it, very Morrison-ish.
Great work!
