Favorite bootleg? Though the audio sucks hard, it's gotta be Washington 1968. Plant was absolutely inhuman.
Hmm, interesting. Have you heard 9/19/1970?

Good footage, but 8/21/1971 is easily the better show of that two show Forum run.

He's ranking them based on the bootleg recordings of those shows.

Denmark 68 is the best performance on there, imo.

*Danmarks Radio 69. But I agree that that's an incredible performance too.

My favourite performances from that set are:

Dazed and Confused - Royal Albert Hall
How Many More Times - Royal Albert Hall
Dazed and Confused - Supershow
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Danmarks Radio
How Many More Times - Danmarks Radio
In My Time Of Dying - Earls Court
Kashmir - Knebworth
Achilles Last Stand - Knebworth

I was gonna include the one-two punch of We're Gonna Groove and I Can't Quit You, Babe from RAH, but I wanted a spread of selections.

Interesting how the studio version of Immigrant Song doesn't have a solo....

But at any rate, the BBC version of that song is all you need if you wanted to call Zeppelin 'heavy metal' (which I personally wouldn't).
