Gah, almost impossible to pick one, I love both. But if I were forced to choose between either, I'd have to go with Pink Bubbles. It's got "Mankind" and "The Chance", after all.

Yeah, PBGA has the better vocals, but I think RFO has better songs.
Both singers really toned down the flashiness and started to mature a lot more....

Surgical Strike is just badass!

Agree about the songs, and I hadn't actually heard Rage For Order until earlier this year. It quickly became a favourite of mine, quite possibly my favourite Queensrÿche album overall, a surprisingly mature and complex album for the band so early in their career, perhaps more so than Operation: Mindcrime.

What's the one Helloween song from Pink Bubbles with the "You are on your waaaay" chorus? God, the way he sings that is melodic brilliance...

That one, yes. Also, "Your Turn" is just incredibly beautiful and optimistic, perfectly paired with "The Chance" on the album. That ballad is also another wonderful example of Kiske being the absolute master of melodic high range singing.

Well, my man Bruce Dickinson rivals him there, I think.

But it's a shame Kiske isn't more widely recognized for his vocal brilliance.
The guy can even do Elvis covers and make them sound great. Not easy to do.

I think Avantasia would've benefited from having Anneke van Giersbergen as Anna Held, and Kee Marcello doing the guitar solos. Imagine "Farewell"...

I don't know, the Farewell solo is still pretty sweet the way it is.

And Timi, I didn't know, he sounds like Crush-era Bon Jovi a lot there!

This is a monstrous performance by Lione, sounds like there are 4 different singers:

If Lione ends up being Kamelot's new singer it's going to be epic.

It is going to be epic, he is certainly the best they can hire, but it's not going to be the same without Khan.

Agreed. Then again, they've got the musicianship to make it work. We could see a change of sound along the lines of when Dio joined Black Sabbath.

Of course, I don't deny that, it's just that, with Khan, they were just so unique withing the metal scene and with Khan that unique dimension might be lost forever. They will still be awesome, I don't doubt that.
