Vertigo was definitely my favorite. Blue Moon and the title track were both superb as well.

I'm probably choosing favs a bit prematurely, having only listened once. What is the next Terminals album I'd want to look for?

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

There are actually some really good songs in here, but overall the album didn't leave a very solid impression on me. It was alright, thoug. It's a fun listen, reminds me a lot of Oasis but there's still something missing. Might have to listen to it a few more times.

Rating: 6.5/10

Big Talk - Big Talk

I was expecting nothing from this album. Nothing at all. And it surprised me hugely. Catchy tunes and I never got bored. It's still missing a bit of power, but it was a great first solo effort from The Killers' drummer.

Rating: 7.2/10

I love Noel Gallagher and his music a lot (as opposed to his douche brother), but that album is extremely disappointing. I was expecting something good, but instead got an extremely boring album with tireful songs.

Yes. I grew kinda bored in the end of the record. It was kind of plain, but some some songs are quite good and fun. It's not an album that I would listen to repeatedly, but it's ok as background music when you're doing something else.

Harry Nilsson - Nilsson Schmilsson

Kind of cheesy, and somewhat run of the mill singer/songwriter stuff here; yet, I quite enjoyed this!

I think Nilsson was really good during his earlier career. It is a shame he ruptured his vocal chords after having a screaming contest with John Lennon, his voice was really beautiful. There was reputedly blood on the microphone after the contest, that must have hurt.

:ugh: Just the thought of literally doing that just by screaming.

Well, it probably wasn't JUST that. There are a number of stories around, including that it was the result of a bad cold, and that it was due to his drinking. Probably some combination thereof.

Whatever it was, though, it was a damn shame.
