Yo-Yo Ma & Friends Songs of Joy and Peace
a bit hit and miss, unfortunately, but Alison Krauss' vocals are divine, Wexford Carol link above

Alison Klauss rec, Now That I've Found You: A Collection (full of excellent bluegrass instrumental solos)

also, Alison's Down in the River to Pray is on the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgVL-rBq9Fw

Alison should rank as one of the most perfect female vocalists ever.

i'll probably get that. been wanting some krauss.

they shot a performance of that soundtrack. looks like it'd be pretty spectacular.

Alcest - Les Voyages De L'Âme

9/10. This is as good as Ecailles De Lune but not quite as good as Souvenirs d'un autre Monde, IMO.

This was just awesome. I'm not used to low tempo, ass-destroying funk like this but I like it. Going to check out the famous trilogy that this album begins with high expectations.

Awesome, good to see this!

I hated Deep Purple in 2005, and only listened to Ozzy Sabbath in 2005. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I'VE COMPLETELY EVOLVED!

I was with a buddy for a ride to and from South Jersey, so I put on some shit he could enjoy.
