Mediafire has been great for me. I normally search *artist* *album* "mediafire" and then look for a link to filetram which hooks me up with a bunch of mediafire links and that usually gets me my shit. I'm suspicious of 4shared because it forces you to make an account. Would it be worth my time to make one?

Edit: Come to think of it, it would be way better to just go right to filetram and then search for the album.

I like Mediafire, too, but I download stuff from 4shared and I don't have an account. It just makes me wait for a countdown, which Mediafire doesn't.

Really? I remember 4shared used to be that way, but one day it just started popping up with this box and insisting I sign up. I'll have to check that again. But as I said, virtually all my downloading needs are currently being satisfied by Mediafire. Occasionally I have to use Rapidshare which blows because it takes so damn long.

I signed up for 4shared but that was to download the pdf of a book, rather than an album.

It's 2012 bros, tagging software abound

I use MP3Tag. It saves me a lot of time, but it's no good for the albums I download that have no track name or number tags as you still have to input those separately for each track.

:banghead: Of course its right when I come in here all cocky about my ability to find shit when I am completely blown away by something and cannot find it anywhere. If anyone knows how to get Blue Sk Black Death's A Heap of Broken Images, I'd appreciate assistance.

I haven't been able to use Rapidshare--my DSL line is kind of crappy, and whenever I try to get an album from Rapidshare, it decides I'm taking too long when I'm about 90% done. It will let me download it as many times as I want, but of course there's no way to restart where I left off, so I still end up with 90% of a file, which is useless. Oh, well...

Entering its 33rd year, the Detroit Jazz Festival on Labor Day weekend is the largest free-of-charge jazz festival in North America. The festival spreads from Hart Plaza to Campus Martius and Cadillac Square in downtown Detroit. This year's dates are Aug. 31-Sept. 3.

The lineup reveals a generous helping of no-nonsense veteran jazz stars such as the 81-year-old tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins and trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, neither of whom have played the festival since 1987, and guitarist Pat Metheny, who will make his festival debut.

If you copy and paste the actual URLs it tends to work better, I find, for some weird reason. I found a lot of the links I thought were bad links by clicking the link actually works.
