Yeah, I'm taking some of the Wu solo albums into account here. GZA, Raekwon, ODB, and Method Man are the only ones I've heard stuff from, though I've been meaning to hear some Ghostface. I just generally like OutKast more. There are probably more great Wu-Tang songs and albums out there, but I, having heard the best of what they both have to offer, definitely will take OutKast's peaks. Bear in mind also that Sir Lucious Left Foot is an OutKast album as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, that's cool. Well the 93-97 run is 8 albums of absolute high quality for me (Wu Forever being a double). The 6 OutKast albums plus Sir Luscious is also 8 albums, but I don't think it maintains the same high level throughout like the Wu run. The peaks of both are pretty equal I agree, except I give the edge to Wu for pconnects.

I'll be catching that tour when it hits DC. Really psyched since I've missed chances to see each of them on their own this past year.

one of the best songs of all time. three 6 mafia discovered what i like to call the higgs boson of the south sound on that compilation, also highlighting what a truly hypnotic thing the element of repetition is. fucking perfect, 5/5, etc

what other southern hip hop are you guys listening to other than the usual stuff we talk about here

Whole album is brilliant, but that song will always be one of my favourites of all time. Easily my most listened to.

I basically can never get away without replaying it two or three times when I listen to that album.
