OK, so now DeAngelo Williams has a normal game (after I bench him). Chris Johnson decides to suck instead. My big problem was Larry Fitzgerald. I have the worst luck with receivers. I also didn't start Vernon Davis. But when I start getting into three shouldas, I have a problem.

Also, if he had started Trent Richardson, he'd have destroyed me anyway. Victor Cruz and Vincent Jackson really killed me.

In one league I need to bench one of Mike Wallace, Steve Smith, AJ Green, or Reggie Wayne (in order from most likely to least likely to get played by me). Who should it be?

I benched Stevan Ridley last week. This week, I decided that Jamaal Charles wasn't going to play very well. I'm on fire.

Jamaal Charles is on my opponents team this week. Thanks to him with Romo acting as an accessory I'm going to lose with the second highest score (most likely anyway). I need Ray Rice and the Baltimore kicker to make up 23 points plus whatever Tom Brady throws up (would be helpful if Tamme and Mike Wallace could get their asses in gear).

Second highest score for the week by a good 20 points. Of course I lose because I happen to go against the high score. Isn't often you can lose a game with 128 fantasy points but I found a way.

Ahhh going into the last day, I'm losing my fantasy baseball league (roto) 104 to 103.5.

Barring some really bizarre stuff I don't see the 1st place guy moving (though possibly being bumped down in WHIP, he's in first but due to rounding not sure by how much). I'm locked in at every hitting stat. Pitching is where it gets interesting: I'm 2 wins behind the next guy, tied in saves with someone, ERA 0.01 ahead of the next guy, and this is how close I am to 2 others in WHIP:

1.20587207
1.20588957 (Me)
1.20959596

I picked up a couple starters to stream to try and gain ground in wins, but do I start them today? I've got

Homer Bailey @ StL
David Huff vs. CWS

I've got 3 relievers in my lineup too, but there's a chance none will get any innings today. Do I sit tight and hope that the guy just ahead of me in WHIP has a bad day? He's got Kershaw and Edwin Jackson going today (oy). Ahhhh having big time analysis paralysis here. Voices of reason welcome.

any advice on who to draft first in fantasy basketball if DDs and TDs aren't categories? With DDs as a category I always go with an elite big man first. I'm thinking if I don't get one of the first three picks (which still have to be lebron, durant, cp3 in that order, I would imagine), Imma try to get a really good point guard. Trying to build my fan-tasty team last year around Dwight Howard was a mistake. I lost in free throws every week.

Never played in a league where those were actual categories. All the rankings out there deal with standard scoring (either 8- or 9-cat...some leagues use TOs, some don't).

yeah we're doing points, turnovers, rebounds, ft%, fg%, 3pm, assists, blocks, steals. pretty standard. in years past we've had double doubles as a category. it pretty much just makes it so you have to draft a bunch of big men, though. glad we're not doing it this year.

any opinions on what is the best position to center a fantasy team around?

I'm no expert, but I tend to think less about position in fantasy basketball than in other fantasy sports. They're more fluid and there are a ton of guys with multiple eligibilities. Then you've also got your generic G and F slots, and the Util slots too. I typically just go by stats, and only look at position if I'm in a spot where I've already got a bunch of players and no one to fill the C slot.

So I still lead my league in points scored (now by 10 instead of 20). I am 1-3. Fantastic. I've scored 431.9 in a 10 team league. I've unfortunately had 434.4 scored against me.

Finally seem like I'll get a second win (unless Gates and Colston combine for 67 points in this game). I guess all I needed to ensure a victory was 135.9 points. After this week most likely I'll be 40 clear of everyone in points but only 2-3.
