Haha no. I haven't actually looked at my lineup in that league in a couple of weeks. Not sure how I'm doing.

My three runningbacks who should be pretty good (Green-Ellis, DeAngelo Williams, and Chris Johnson) just combined for 2.1 points.

My friend is willing to trade Michael Turner. Who should I offer?

Eli Manning
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
DeAngelo Williams
Larry Fitzgerald
A.J. Green
Vernon Davis
James Jones
Chris Johnson
Matt Schaub
Jacob Tamme
Mike Williams
Kevin Ogletree
Shaun Draughn
Jeremy Kerley
Santonio Holmes

He's weak in WRs, but I'm not sure if it's worth giving up one of mine (because those three are the only ones performing besides Eli).

Is Larry Fitzgerald too much? Is Chris Johnson too little?

If he'll take Chris Johnson have at it as its definitely too little. Fitzgerald is definitely too much. See if you can get him to bite on Ellis or Williams.

my fantasy basketball team, in the order I picked them:

Kevin Durant
Ty Lawson
Monta Ellis
Amare Stoudemire
Zach Randolph
Brook Lopez
Klay Thompson
Glen Davis
Luis Scola
Nene
Kemba Walker
Al Harrington
Jared Dudley

I was drinking during the draft and now I kind of regret picks 3-6. They're all high-risk moderate-reward, in the sense that I am hoping they live up to their ceilings, all of which have already been attained. Ellis-Jennings is the riskiest IRL back court in basketball. Amare and Melo may continue to not work together well (and with Sheed coming back, Amare will probably be totally obsolete anyway...right?). Brook Lopez and Z-Bo could both get injured. However, I think Klay Thompson is a great sleeper pick, and Glen Davis could pan out as well, given the fact that I'm not even sure I could name three Orlando players right now.

looking like I'll dominate in points and percentages, and struggle with...well, basically everything else.

OK this week I have an embarrasment of options in Fantasy. Here are the spots I need to fill

QB -
RB 1 - Ray Rice
RB 2 -
WR 1 - A.J. Green
WR 2 -
Flex -
Tight End - Kyle Rudolph (really wish I could pretend one of my receivers was a tight end this week)
Defense - Bears
Kicker - Justin Tucker

Here are my options for the QB slot: Tony Romo or Jay Culter. Both very inconsistent but with on paper very easy matchups (Carolina and Detroit respectively). I think I'm leaning Tony because I really don't like Cutler in intradivisional games and it feels to me like Detroits pass defense is due for some TOs forced.

Here are my options for the RB 2 slot (in likely order of playing them)
C.J. Spiller (against Tennessee), Chris Johnson (against Buffalo), Alfred Morris (against the Giants)

Here is my thinking here. C.J. Spiller has been volatile this year because of the injury and now the carry split but since he's been healthy he's been pretty beastly. Tennessee has a terrible defense (although it is more pass than run that's bad) that I think works perfectly for C.J. to pick up points. Similarly Johnson is going against an awful defense and the worst run defense in the league. I really don't want to have to trust Johnson but I think he's a decent play. Morris I really love and ordinarily would probably start him easily over Johnson and maybe even Spiller but the Giants defense is much scarier than these other two. Competing against that factor though is the fact that with Griffin Morris gets a ton of holes that wouldn't ordinarily be there.

For WR 2 my options (in likely order of playing them)
Reggie Wayne (Cleveland), Mike Wallace (Cincy), Mike Williams (against NO), and Steve Smith (Dallas, and I'm really just putting him here for completeness)

This is a tough one between the top 2 for me. On the one hand neither team has demonstrated much ability to cover anyone. Cleveland on paper has the better corner matchup (Hayden) but Wayne showed the ability to get open against Cromartie even as Luck's only real target. Mike Wallace has been a bit more inconsistent but he's going up against a truly awful pass defense against number 1 wideouts (but with greater likelihood of ball spreading). Williams ordinarily wouldn't even get any consideration but he's going up against the atrocious NO defense. That said I still don't even think I'm going to start him. Smith I just wanted to list in case anyone was feeling crazy.

For my flex the options are whoever I don't select for RB 2 and WR 2. I'm thinking in order of attractiveness Spiller, Johnson, Morris, Wayne, Wallace, Williams (with obviously one receiver and one back being accomodated at the other positions).

won by .96 points in our football league. good shit.

corrections, id go chris johnson against buffalo. i mean its buffalo. for flex id go with alfred morris and WR2 id say its a toss up between wallace and wayne. youre options arent that bad. right now i have antonio brown and crabtree as my two best WR options.

For RB2 and Flex I'd go with Spiller and Johnson. Spiller is playing the best out of these guys pretty easily and Tennessee is very generous. It's clear he can be productive even in a timeshare, and it's not like Jackson will be getting significantly more time in the coming weeks. Johnson obviously has a high ceiling and the porous Buffalo D. Morris is playing really well though, so you're going to have to go with your gut feeling on him vs. Johnson.

WR2 is a bit murkier IMO. I think you're underrating Williams and odds are we'll see a shootout in that game. But I would probably put Wayne over the other 2 still.

Yeah I mean these are all good options to have. AJ Green and Ray Rice probably have the worst two matchups but under no circumstances can either be benched.

ah so glad i traded spiller for cj. so far has turned out to be a very good deal on my part.

my team's in first now with the most points scored in the league. i also have the second highest points against so its not like im getting extremely lucky. I really wouldnt mind winning the league haha.

as for our yahoo league im in first there as well. although i dont think anybody cares about that too much.

Got another win. Wasn't close (my opponent got rocked by bye weeks with Manning, Gonzales, and Julio Jones sitting with me having no meaningful player sitting) but I still barely got over the 100 mark. Chris Johnson's inspired 30+ point effort was a great help as Rice stunk out the joint, Green was average, and most everyone else was really quiet. Bears D had a nice exclamation point on Monday though (doubly so for me since I was going up against Calvin Johnson). In the end I would have won my match even without Chris Johnson but was fortunate as though I outscored every loser this week and one winner I would have barely lost to the other 3 (which marks the first week in 3 I haven't had the top score for the week).

This week is my own personal bye week hell. Rice, AJ Green, Spiller, and Hunter (my kicker) ar all sitting. Rice is fairly ably filled in for by Alfred Morris and Spiller can be easily spelled by Chris Johnson against the Colts. Green is less ably spelled by Mike Wallace but I think he'll have a good week against weak defense. Still trying to decide between Cutler and Romo but they're basically equivalent. Wayne will hold it down against Tennesse I believe. I'm going to try and drop Hunter and pick up Zuerline (can always get Hunter back and I don't have space for two kickers and my league awards no premium to hitting longer kicks making kickers of limited value). I've got a real clusterfuck in my TE and flex spots though (which is open to TEs).

My tight end options are Rudolph, Tamme, and Hernandez (in rough order of my thoughts on playing them).

My flex options are Rudolph, Tamme, Steve Smith, Hernandez, and Mike Williams. Really don't want to rock two TEs but kind of feel I've got no choice as Smith is going against the Bears (although he usually plays well against them) and Williams isn't in a particularly favorable matchup. I may be underrating Hernandez but I think St. Louis actually has a good pass D whereas Tamme is going against NO (aka the worst defense in the league). Any thoughts?

Edit: And I lead my league with 799.9 points through 7 weeks but am still in 3rd (in a clusterfuck of 5 4-3 teams). My margin over the other 3 playoff teams has slipped a bit so now its only 85, 89, and 102 points over them but it is a good 144 over every other player in the league. I no longer am the one getting scored on the most (now I think I'm sixth in points against but that's a function of our bottom 2 teams being horrible and our bottom 3 being not particularly good). Anyway I've been fairly consistent in scoring with 5 weeks over 100 and no week below 95. I've also had 4 weeks over the 110 point barrier, 3 over the 120, and 1 over 130.
