Something I find amusing. Don't know if you guys have heard of the coffee table Barnes & Noble book the Encyclopedia of Heavy Metal, but it was reprinted and updated (and made smaller in size) for it's 10th anniversary. They added a few bands and took a few out (like Limp Bizkit, good riddance). One of the bands taken out was System of a Down.

So System of a Down is not recognized as a metal band either by them or by metal-archives. :lol:

I was wondering if they were ever gonna make a second one. Pretty laughable, but actually not that bad a reference all around, specially for someone wet like I was when I bought it (the inclusion of some acts is absolutely unexplainable though).

Well the most noticeable omission, Dream Theater, is in there now. If there is any glaring omission now it's Burzum. The author ignorantly refers to it as a prison synthesizer project.
