This is about guitar, though... and that show was with Drover, arguably the worst leading guitarist that played for Megadeth.

I came with this riff Top Ten. Working on in-song solos and Metal stuff.

Sid's Top Ten Riffs (alphabetical order):
Black Sabbath (Tony Iommi/Black Sabbath)
Dead Skin Mask (Jeff Hanneman/Slayer)
Lucretia (Dave Mustaine/Megadeth)
Riff Raff (The Young bros/AC/DC)
Supernaut (Tony Iommi/Black Sabbath)
The Rover (Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin)
The Whole World's Gonna Know (Paul Gilbert/Mr. Big)
Tornado of Souls (Dave Mustaine/Megadeth)
Ventilator Blues (Mick Taylor/The Rolling Stones)
Voodoo Child (Jimi Hendrix/The Jimi Hendrix Experience)

Dunno if TWW'sGK is considered a "riff", though.

Fuck Reign In Blood!
Hell Awaits is spectacular though.

War Ensemble remains the best Slayer tune for me.

Believe it or not, in both these cases it was actually the bass players who wrote most of these bands riffs.

Jack Bruce in Cream of course, and Steve Harris in Maiden.

Mustaine ftw. Rust In Peace is just a relentless display of face-melting riffery...

I also love "Liar", and that riff toward the end of "Mary Jane".
