Yeah Dreww is obviously talking about the psychological effects here. I definitely understand the objection to that.

I dunno, something like this would probably work better as a novel or a graphic novel, simply because of how children are involved in it's subject matter.

Couldn't they just find some adults with those disorders that makes them look like kids?

The children involved in the filming were not exposed to anything sexual on-set. As for the rest of the cast, they are consenting adults. What's the problem?

You think the kids were completely unaware of what was going on, or what they were partaking, or simulating to partake, in?

Edit: As usual, Dreww says it better.

Any parent who would allow their child to be used in a film wherein it is implied that they are raped after birth doesn't have any business with a child. How are they going to explain that to them growing up? Hide it from them? What if they find out? Call me a bleeding heart all you like; that is straight up psychological abuse in my opinion.

So it's just implication?

I honestly don't think it would be that bad if that's all it is. I thought we were talking about some intense imagery here.

You haven't seen the film. You'll understand once you do. It's a fucking dummie for chrissakes, a prosthetic. It's quite blatant you moron.

It's some pretty intense imagery, and very disturbing. But not graphic.

Is it just a prosthetic during the rape act or is an actual newborn in the film at all?

I was referring to the older children, specifically the boy who is strongly implied to be buttraped by his father (he is covered the whole time of course).

Isn't that what Siberian police are investigating right now?

Good job spoiling the film for those who may intend to watch it, Sherick and Dreww.

All of the sexual scenes involving children use dummies as far as I can tell.
