I got it for about £6 in a second hand shop. Bargain! Really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Brining my PS2 back down after I go home easter so going to get the original for that. As well as some other PS2 games I really want but never got round to playing (Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Silent Hill 3).

Yep, having lots of fun with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It was just an okay game until I got to the FEMA installation, where it thankfully kicked up a notch. I understand the Deus Ex purists don't like the boss fights, but I just encountered the first one and thought it was very entertaining.

Finished a replay through Ocarina of Time. Perhaps it's just the nostalgia but this game is always immersive. The story is pretty basic but it makes up for it by having a strong atmosphere and doing a good job creating a world that feels fairly lived in. The dungeons are all a lot of fun still and the puzzles are great. The combat system is a bit unevolved but that's not surprising given the time period in which the game was made. All and all worthy of a 9/10.

Ah cool glad you're liking it.

As for me, I've finally sunk my teeth into Metal Gear Solid 3 on the MGS HD collection and got to the End boss fight. Saved the game as I heard it was a very long boss fight, however I was warned "are you sure you want to save as I have a bad feeling about this?" Then when I went back into the game I was shot instantly and carried all the way back to the research labs >_<

Speaking of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it has the same security camera system as BioShock and Thief II: The Metal Age. This is a security system where the cameras slowly sweep back and forth in one color, if they spot you they lock on, change color, and assess you for a second or so, and if you don't duck out of sight in time they change color yet again and set off an alarm. Thief II: The Metal Age is probably the first time this appeared in a game. I hope it's getting royalties.

HOLY SHIT! I just reached this absolutely mind fuck of a moment in MGS3. I'm in some kind of beautiful hell or limbo. Everyone on my radio seems to think I'm dead. Tried every item, tried different radio frequencies, tried saving and resetting the game to wake up. Absolutely no fucking clue how to get out of here, but I don't really care, absolute stunning moment this one.

Please no one spoil how I have to get out of here.

You have to get Solid Snake to remove his head from his own ass.

One of the best video game endings ever in my opinion, maybe best in the series

Half an hour or so into Infinite and already instantly as awe-struck as I was with Rapture the very first time. Fuck I love these games, nothing comes close.

Just played To the Moon.

Incredible game! I wept like a baby. The gameplay is terrible if non-existant, but that story... It's going at about £1.50 on Steam at the moment and is fairly short (3-5 hours long).

Heartily recomend everyone gives it a go.

10.0/10

That kind of hinders your recommendation there, mod-squad. I won't shut the fuck up about Xenoblade Chronicles because the story AND the gameplay are awesome.

The Walking Dead

You can get all five episodes on XBox Live right now for ten bucks. Spring Sale. Episode One is free. That was all the incentive I needed, and, holy shit is this game awesome. Better than the television show. And I've only played the first two episodes so far!
