ya it really was a perfect setlist. couldnt believe he opened with oh comely. absolutely blew me away. and then there was the rest of the show. the audience filling in as the horns was magical. surreal experience to say the least. hes coming again to connecticut and i was thinking about going but i dont wanna take away the chance for someone else to see him.

Cool. It's a shame he's not doing a UK tour.

Looks like he is. He's doing two London shows in March as well as ATP, and I'm sure there will be more dates announced.

ATP is way too expensive and so is London.

If he came to Birmingham or somewhere I'd definitely go.

I'd be there if he was in Brum.

Mangum played 2 sets at the same venue and my friend who works the venue was able to finagle me to seeing both shows. Lucky me since the 2nd set was way better and more passionate. Anyway an impressive intimate set, but for me, part of the appeal of NMH has always been the sonic textures of their sound design, which is obviously absent with just him and his geetar. Still it was pretty surreal to hear these songs come to life with that iconic voice just piercing through my life.

Really wanted to get a picture with him after the show, since it's easy to approach artists being an intimate venue, but it took too long. Shit, I really wanted to take a picture of him while I (and possibly him too) flexing in front of the camera. Shit, Neutral Muscle Milk Hotel more like.

road trip to georgia? i thonk they'll probably make this a more extensive tour considering how much dough they could make. ive already seen jeff twice now but NMH would take the cake.
