Whoa, super stoked to be seeing him in two weeks now

both tracks are among the best things i've ever heard from him, definitely prefer this to the college dropout/late registration stuff. Dark and Gritty suits his delivery style pretty darn well. Add me to the list of people anticipating the album.

Haven't heard either, but the level of praise here is nuts. Can't wait to listen.

I feel like this is the most serious shit he's ever done. It's kind of hard to take MBDTF seriously, but this shit, man, you can't laugh at this. For post-Graduation Kanye, I feel like with these two tracks, his execution has finally caught up with his ambition.

I liked Black Skinhead a lot, but something tells me that sadly this stuff is going to bomb and he's going to get lambasted. This shit ain't catchy, no one who listens to hip-hop radio is going to want that.

I think it might do surprisingly well. Besides being way more bare, the beat for "New Slaves" isn't that much different from "Mercy."

Idk, a lot of people ranked on monster and power when they first came out, and they ended up becoming huge successes. I remember power initially was very controversial even though that song is awesome.

Kanye seems to be a bit of a trend setter, albeit a controversial one, so I can almost guarantee that people will flock to his new stuff like parishioners to a sermon. There will always be a divide though, but that's cool.

well some of my friends here already dont like the songs much, and prefer his graduation days, so I can see what Dipsoid's talking about.

"Heartless" had people whining too. Don't fight it, feel it.

It'll get airplay because it's Kanye West but I can't see radio-rap fans rocking out to this. I say most "radio" people will just be yelling about how he ripped off Marilyn Manson.
