This new Bruno Mars song is surprisingly good. I don't know if this is because Mars has actually stepped up on the promise he delivered on BOB's "Nothin' on You" (and to a lesser extent the okay-but-highly-overrated "Just the Way You Are") to make up for how awful his debut album was, or because Mark Ronson produced and co-wrote it.

Excellent song. Love the arrangements, especially the build up to the chorus.

This song is so The Police and new wave influence. Not bad at all. It's a good fun song.

Listening to Madonna's Music and kind of realizing how she basically invented the current "sound" of pop music way back in 2000.

Locked Out of Heaven is a good song. Guess he did some work with Mark Ronson for his newest material, I actually look forward to giving the album a chance.

The Police-ish lead single, "Locked Out of Heaven," the Daft Punk-worthy disco groove "Moonshine", while "Gorilla" features a thundering, Def Leppard-huge.[5] "When I Was Your Man," a stark breakup ballad stands out amidst the edgy production, featuring only piano and Mars' raw, intense vocals. "Old & Crazy" is considered by Jeff Bhasker "kooky, true-jazz classic, like 'Pennies From Heaven'. "It's sounds like a song you'd hear in a club in 1920s Paris".[3] In what concerns the lead single "Locked Out of Heaven," Mars said that Ronson brought in the rhythm section of his frequent collaborators the Dap-Kings to achieve a crisply syncopated, locked-in groove. "It's hard to create sounds with live instrumentation that bump in the club, and Mark Ronson did it here." "[3]

I can't believe the media is trying to compare this one pound fish guy to gangnam style. What a joke. I couldn't get through 45 seconds of that video.

In Other news gangnam style crossed the 1 billion views threshold on YouTube.
