Really pleased with USA's current form, loss to Belgium aside (even on our current form our defense is still...troublesome). Hopefully we can keep it up against Honduras and make qualification a mere formality in the latter stages of the hex.

Yea boi, one victory away from qualification to the World Cup. Up the Socceroos

Awesome result but a bit flattering.
Had we conceded early in the 2nd half it could have changed the game.

But great to see kruse, rogic, Milligan and vidisic looking sharp. Good signs of newer players stepping up.

Given Iraq's recent performances, you've got a very good chance. It's nice to see Japan has qualified too. I always enjoy watching them in the World Cup.

so i try not to pay too much attention to transfer rumors...but, apparently, as monaco is making a substantial bid for cr7. i can't say that i see monaco as even a remote possibility for a landing spot for ronaldo if he leaves....monaco?

I hope those clowns don't stick Cavani on the wing again today.

Me too. If I were the coach I would play him up top with Suarez in the hole. Forlan's best days are well passed him.

That's the first word that comes to mind when I think of him. I see him as the Steve Nash of soccer.

A beautiful counter attack there. I enjoy watching Spain's fluid style so much. It's so relaxing and visually pleasing.
