I guess I'm referring to the dialogue. Just kind of seems lame. Does anyone have any real idea of what the plot is going to be like? Surely the whole movie is not going to be George Clooney and Sandra Bullock swinging around in space? I mean that could be good... if one of them wasn't Sandra Bullock...

Apparently it's just them in space. Before Bullock was cast, Cuaron wanted Angelina Jolie, Marion Cotillard, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson for the role so I guess it could have been better but also could have been a hell of a lot worse (Lively).

marion would have been my preference

so 2 hours in space?

"where are you?"
"i see stars..."
"hmm"
...

i'm sure it will be awesome though. i just read that it opens with a 17 minute long cut, which i assume includes the clip that was just released. so imagine how suspenseful that will be to see the entire thing unfold for 17 minutes without stopping.

I've decided I'm not going to the movies until I can be sure that I won't be forced to sit through that godforsaken We're The Millers trailer ever again.

If the looks of this trailer are to be believed, Ben Stiller of all people may have produced the best looking mainstream film in recent memory.

I'm convinced Stiller's way smarter than we all give him credit for.

Last day to see Bujalski's Computer Chess today at my local arthouse. He's actually a mumblecore director I haven't touched yet, but this seems to be the film to see of his if you're not into that kinda stuff.

I am very jealous of you as I won't be able to see it in the theater at all. Bujalski is definitely the one mumblecore director who transcends the genre and I really rank as an all time great so I am very excited for this, which looks like a turn in a new direction while keeping what makes a Bujalski film a Bujalksi film.
