Well that was a rough loss. I feel horrible for Jordan Matthews. He's the only reason we're in the game still and if he catches that Vandy probably wins. Kid gave it his fucking all. He's going to be good on Sundays.

texas will stomp in 2 weeks. don't worry

so does alabama win again? or does oregon finally break through, or does another SEC team knock off bama? or does texas surprise everyone and go 14-0?

There's no way Texas goes 14-0, but I do have them winning the Big 12.

Normal logic suggests Alabama repeats; I don't think there's another team strong enough to pick over them.

if they don't win the big 12 in a down year for the conference where like every team had major losses except for TCU and OSU (but i think texas is superior) while they return 19 of 22 starters and the most experienced QB in the conference, then it will be pathetic.

they set a single game yardage record for the university last night, which was totally unexpected because the were sleeping for the first 28 minutes, losing to new mexico state university 7-0 and i thought it was the apocalypse coming to be shut out by that team at halftime, but then they exploded for 35 points in the next nine minutes, and 56 points and about 600 yards total in the last 32. it was really strange. it was like watching texas circa garret gilbert era 2010 for one half and then oregon on speed for the other.

I thought Oklahoma State was favored.

That's pretty impressive, but part of me is wondering how you can gain 600 yards and only score 56 points.

i don't think anyone's really agreed on who's favored. texas beat OSU last year and returns more starters and a better QB and more depth. favoring OSU is more like saying "i'll believe it when i see it" to texas actually turning talent into wins. which is fair.

well they had 715 yards by the end of the night. most coming in 32 minutes. but 56 points isn't low for that kind of yardage. oregon had close to 800 and scored 10 more points. oh and texas had 3 turnovers inside NMSU's 40, one of which should have been a touchdown pass but turned into an interception.

all in all i could barely move or say a word for 90 minutes. it was infuriating and embarrassing to be down 7-0 to NMSU on our home field with 2 minutes left in the first half. i could envision aggies and sooners watching the shocking first half highlights and laughing their asses off. "Texas shut out at home by one-win NMSU after 30 minutes of play".  i think texas has a deanthony thomas in daje johnson though. even last year as a true freshman he's a one-cut-and-gone kind of player. always the fastest on the field.

I would really love to see Oregon play Alabama, and I think a lot of the rest of the country could at least agree that it would be interesting. I could totally see us losing to Stanford though.

I have high hopes for the Ducks this year, with the evolution of De'Anthony Thomas and the 2nd year of Marcus Mariota.

I think Stanford's front 7 is going to carve you up again this year.

I don't see anyone beating Alabama for the title. Also with this bye week they're going to fucking curb stomp A&M (and I can't wait)

it sucks because i wish both aggie and alabama could lose. maybe aggie winning is better because they're more likely to lose later in the season. but then aggie will vault to #1.... vomit. and what if the don't lose? that will be painful to watch. manziel has no class and i hate seeing a ton of talent have no class, but keep winning. though it wouldn't matter because one-loss alabama gets to the NCG anyways. so let's go alabama? ugh.

A&M fans need to be put in their place at the moment so let's go Alabama

Say Roll Tide a lot and skip your daughter's wedding if it's on game day and you will fit right in with the bammers.

Also why does Lebron James have his own locker at Ohio St? I understand he's the best basketball player today but that is pandering at it's worst. He never played there.
