that is incredible. can't wait to fullscreen that on a 52 inch and watch at my friends place this weekend.

pnoom -

i think i get what you mean. ive got some artist recs, maybe youtube some of their stuff if see if anything feels good? if so i can hit you with album recs

microstoria (side project of oval guy, you're bound to like)
pete namlook
taylor deupree
kashiwa daisuke
alva noto
fennesz (maybe?)
murcof
early mouse on mars
pan sonic
ryoki ikeda

for labels you might want to look into rephlex records' roster, its really akin to what you're looking for. also some on warp as well, though warp leans toward pop more frequently

Nov 2 looks amazing as well. And Nov 1 would be killer too if only for Chic w/ Nile Rodgers

I experienced that in its full glory a couple of weeks ago, very close to the front row. I think it was the best gig of my life.

goddamn man, you lucky sonofagun. i'mma help out in whatever way i can. also adding (entirely subjective) rating system

your sights are set on only one of the dates? is it too expensive to go for more? because if you can afford it -

19th oct is a must - hawtin has been mixing his earlier stuff recently (decks fx 909 era shit), jaar is amazing and you have move d too.
music - 9
booty shakin - 6.5
cerebral/visceral - 8.5

25th oct - the motherfucking knife. idk how you feel about them but seeing the knife live is something like seeing silver surfer riding on the hailey's comet or something, you get the point. they are a completely singular electronic experience. i don;t know the cost and if it would be worth it for *just* the knife, but i personally would totally do this.
music - 9
booty shakin - ????
cerebral/visceral - 9

26th oct - this, my friend, is the NOW. do not sell this lineup short. almost every big player in post dubstep and uk funky is here, as well as like 50% of the night slugs lineup. and just for the record, all else said, i would KILL to see motor city drum ensemble. this is, from the list i have seen thus far - the dance lineup.
music - ranges between 8-9.5
booty shakin - 9.5
cerebral/visceral - 7.5

skip 1st november cos only worth for chic and nile rodgers which is already done

2nd november is pretty great - james holden, four tet, ben ufo, madlib, doom, thom yorke, this seems like superstar day. can;t go wrong with this - i expect it to be the most diverse in terms of sounds.

music - 9.5
booty shakin - i dont know, could be off the wall good or mediocre or everything in between
cerebral visc - 8

30th novem - another super date. cold german steel and house goodness. sven vath, mjc, scuba, dettman, orbison.

music - 8.5
booty shakin -7.5
cerebral - 9.5

13th december looks nice too as you said. be warned though that i saw john talabot recently and they weren't very good at all, quite a disappointment actually. though you still got flylo, j-rocc and jamie xx so it could be worth it.

hope this helps, the numbers ive assigned are all pretty random so dont take them too seriously. but yeah go for as many as you can!

Ahh that's a shame about Talabot! Was it a DJ set or a live performance?

Think I'm set on the two nights I mentioned. WIll probably choose one more night on top of that to start with, so that helps so much - thanks bro.

Nice one man!

I hope Jamie doesn't play too much xx stuff - he did a mix for jjj this year and it was pretty much all he did which was disappointing. That said, I saw him live just over a year ago and it was a transcendent experience. He's much more exciting when he sticks to the left field stuff I think

As long as I get some crazy tribal African stuff, disco, and his solo stuff, I'll be delighted.
