It has come to pass that many noble kingdoms from across DDD lands have sent forth their mightiest musical warriors to do battle, in the hopes that their kingdom shall have honor and glory bestowed upon them if there warriors can defeat all other foes and receive the will of the people. Only one such warrior from one such kingdom will prevail, and much blood will be shed in the process, but each warrior is prepared to give the ultimate sacrifice that they may have the chance to obtain such glory.

The time has come for each song to prove there worth. May the 2014 song tournament begin!


The Rules are simple:
- Over each 24 hour period 2 song match-ups will be posted along with links to the correct version of each song.
- Every voter must listen to the full length of each song before voting.
- Once each song has been listened to simply put the song you wish to advance to the next round in bold.
- If you wish to comment on any of the songs, or why you choose the song you choose, feel free to do so. It tends to make the tournament more interesting.

- Any ties will be dealt with at the end of this round in a Tie-breaker round

New Town had a pretty cool vibe and the vocalist seems pretty fun. I don't want to make it seem like I'm supporting the music made by a pedophile, but Magic Bus is a classic and I can't vote against it.

Nice variety of rappers on the Busta song. I'm not usually a Lil Wayne fan but he fit well here. Broadcast was a good reminder that I need to listen to them more often. They've always been one of those artists that I only ever listen to when i remember they exist.

Magic Bus was never a Who favorite of mine but the live version is unsurprisingly much better. Still I'm throwing this vote to LWB because it was fun and new to me, so I'd prefer to listen to that one again in subsequent rounds.

Also, any chance we can tweak the rules a little during this tourney so that we can have one four-way match-up in each round and just pick the top two? A lot of folks seemed to be in favor of that last time.

the first 20 seconds of the verse, then skip all the rest of that shit and go straight to...
3:17-4:12... huge explosion into the cool breakdown, then pick back up at 4:36-6:00 and then stop.

its a little over 3 minutes i guess. 3:10ish. its a really awesome 3ish minute song that way.
