I've decided that, in order to make myself not check out too many 2011 albums and to get to know the ones I do check out better, I will write a review for every 2011 album I hear in full.

Bay of Pigs is the closer on the new one, and yeah, it's solid for sure. Somehow Bejar managed to make soft rock, lite funk, and schmaltzy saxophone go together and sound good.

The Pitchfork Guide to Upcoming Releases lists new albums by The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Peter Bjorn and John, Bright Eyes, The Mountain Goats and Low as coming out in the next few months. 2011 looks pretty good so far for new releases.
