suarez is a cunning genius as a forward and plays some completely brilliant football most of the time

as for the biting videos, you could make zidane look like a complete scumbag too if you chose. we all know zizou was god.

and its 2014 man, the right thing to do is not shitpost videos of footballers diving. football has an element of theater and deception that makes it so worthwhile to invest oneself in, the fact that many a time it all boils down to the referee's call. don't hate the player, hate the game.

I dont think anyone doubts that Suarez isn't a great footballer. I personally think he's the best finisher in the game right now and pretty easily. But hes also a certified cunt.

Oh he was the handball guy? I love him even more (I'm completely and firmly in the camp when we had this argument last time that the handball was both the right play there and not morally questionable in the least)

OK so can't see this game right now but holy shit is Japan stoving in the Greek's heads on possession (76 to 24%). That's just crazy. I know Greece is defend and counter generally but shit. Also if Japan scores a goal does that end Greece pretty much?

You mean the handball itself or the celebration of the penalty miss?

Now Greece down to 10 men. Expect that number to rise.

Don't give up yet, Nick. Italy could hold Uruguay from scoring and England could advance by goal difference if they can score enough against Costa Rica.

Handball itself was what I was talking about but I don't see what's wrong with celebrating a penalty miss. It was a bout of good fortune that helped his team in a crucial spot. What's wrong with celebrating (and being relieved)?

Not on point unless Barcelona scored first and then conceded two goals.

I don't see anything wrong with the handball at all. I think every footballer would and should do exactly what Suarez did. Celebrating a penalty miss as if you've scored is pretty cunty especially when you make comments like this after the game, "Mine is the real 'Hand Of God'. I made the save of the tournament."

I was just sharing an example of a game with ridiculously unbalanced possession, made even more ridiculous by the final score

How would scoring first give you more possession? Usually if an underdog scores first the opposition will press harder and have way more of the ball as is the case here. Celtic scored in the 20th and 80th minute before Barca scored in the 90th minute.
