As long as Cutler's QB I don't see how the defense is going to stop anyone.

You mean because they might resent their old team? The three guys are Jeremiah Ratliff, Martellus Bennett, and S.T. Coordinator Joe DeCamillis; Ratliff probably has a real grudge and idk about the others. Either way the Cowboys have been going 8-8 for years, the Bears are rebuilding their whole identity and system so logically you can expect them to take steps forward, where I don't have that same expectation for the Cowboys. I don't really want to argue the hell out of this, I'm just saying that it's reasonable/logical to expect the Bears to be a playoff team. Basically they had 5 games where 40 or more points were scored on them, and I really, really doubt that happens again this year.

All three have huge grudges (DeCamillis with reason the other two without any reason at all)

Pryor to the 'Hawks - disappointing that he won't be starting QB...I do like those explosive plays he can make. Oh well.

What explosive plays? The kid is absolute shit. Poor footwork, poor decision making, and nowhere near the accuracy of a starting-caliber QB. The only thing the guy did for us was that record breaking rushing touchdown and who gives a shit about rushing records when you're a QB.

Interesting. For a counter opinion I'll throw it to my correspondent...Bones

You think so? I heard bad things about KC although I didn't see the game. I like Terrelle Pryor. He brings mobility into our offense. It might be a surprise season for him, but with the offensive line problems and the inconsistency in the red zone, I wouldn't get too confident yet. The Colts are pretty good. They're a wild card caliber team. Giving them a good challenge gives us a good amount of confidence and a fair amount of hope and belief that we could have a chance against teams like Philly, KC and San Diego. Also, we have a pretty easy schedule, which could be an advantage in trying to get the wildcard. But we'll have to see how KC and SD do. I honestly expected us to get dreadfully blown out today especially given the fact that we usually suck in the east coast. But we played well. The defense did a great job getting pressure on Luck. We just have to keep consistency, which has been our main problem.

Huh there is a lot of disagreement between our two correspondents here

Gotta think you're hoping your team doesn't pick Blake Bortles, cause then you'll have to cheer for a guy named Blake Bortles

I have created a chat room for tonight's draft. Chatango is really easy to sign up for. I'll be in there all night, probably drinking a bit if anyone wants to join me and talk about the draft.
