I wonder how long it will take Barca to get Suarez's ban reduced...?

I read that it's james' dream to play for Real Madrid. Every time a top player signs with Real Madrid an angel loses it's wings.

Wouldn't put Jese among those names if youre not going to consider Benzema, too. Jese might get loaned out, or sold. He hasn't been developing as fast as they would have hoped.

Rumor has it that messi is going to converted into a second striker/cam..will probably interchange with Suarez, but Suarez is definitely the central striker now.

Without xavi, they have a gap to fill farther back and central. Messi can do whatever he wants, he's the perfect man to play the hole.

You really think he's starting next year? Old, slow, uninspired...rumor has it he's on his way to the mls.

The new coach likes to operate with a striker, so yes, I think they'll get Suarez to be striker now. Messi has scored enough, it's time for him to realize where he truly belongs, and that's the number 10. He's made to be the perfect number 10. Enough goal scoring skirmishes with CR7, let him win his golden boots now, Messi's done enough scoring, and I'd really like to see him more as a number 10.

Oh I'm sure he'll still pull out goals, he's too good of a finisher to not do that(best in the world). But I'd like to see some directness to the play at Barca, and I think with Suarez and Neymar up front and Messi being in the hole, it'll work beautifully. All these 3 are roaming players, and I can't even imagine the beauty of them all playing with harmony. It'll be the most awesomely glorious looking front 3 ever. CR7 and Bale have raw power and pace, but all these 3 Barca players are absolutely incredible on the ball, probably along with Iniesta for the best in the world.

Yeah goal scoring comes far too naturally to him to not continue bagging loads of goals.

Arsenal signing Sanchez and now apparently signing Khedira. 1 proper striker(not Loic Remy) and then they really should not have any complaints anymore about coming 4th all the time. Arsenal should have gone for someone like Huntelaar actually, I can imagine him loving it there and he'll be getting absolutely brilliant service from that packed Arsenal midfield. Plus, he's among the most natural finishers in the game, and has never not scored. Wenger overlooking.

Says the supporter of a team who just spent £5m more on Lallana than Real paid for Kroos, and subsequently netted £75 million by selling Suarez.

so how do these transfers work? A team can sell a player's contract to whoever if the price is right? is it only cash for players or do they ever trade players?

I never said my team didn't spend money. But you can't be serious if you're comparing Liverpool to the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, etc when it comes to splashing cash on transfers.

You can use that argument for any team in the world, besides maybe Real Madrid to defend your own club's spending relative to another's though. Many people hate QPR because they spend loads of cash, many people hate Crawley Town because they spend loads of cash, but they still don't spend as much as Liverpool.

Simple fact is, Liverpool do spend a lot of cash and have done for decades, which is the exact thing you just said you hate teams who do that.
