are you saying you dont see the cowboys losing against indy today then losing against the redskins? that is extremely possible

Then they'd both be 10-6 and it sounds like Cowboys have the tiebreaker.

But if Philly lost to the Giants (also quite possible on that scale) they'd still make it. Prior to this loss it was extremely possible the Cowboys dropped one of two games (likely to the Colts) and then needed some help from Philly losing to one of the two bad teams they played (although under Cowboys scale most likely it would have been beat the Colts drop to the Redskins). Now they can split against a good team and a bad team and win the division and have a backdoor way of getting in with another Philly loss.

And extremely possible is absurd in the extreme. Their odds across projection systems were sitting at 75% and up because they're actually a better team than both of their opponents and have been playing better than both of them. Sure it is certainly possible they lose both. Things do happen. But it is not particularly likely.

Edit:

Sorry Zep I see you were talking to pgm not me. Nice of you to try and buck him up

They do not in that circumstance actually. If the Eagles and Cowboys finish with the same record Eagles win the division. Cowboys have no shot getting in at 10-6 unless the Eagles drop to the giants as well (what a back in that would be).

Clausen better not save Trestman's job for him. (Realistically he just ensures Cutler's gone.)

Nate Silver says there's about a 7-8% chance the Cowboys lose out and the Eagles beat the Giants. That's not particularly good.

Chicago media: Maybe Cutler was the problem all along.

Reality: Bears scored 14 points with Clausen, D got three takeaways and block a field goal.

He was victimized by some drops but he was also captain checkdown all day. He looked better than he did in Carolina but that isn't saying all that much.

Yeah, the two touchdown passes were beautiful, but beyond that it hardly proves Trestman's offense would be great with a turnover free QB.

Gonna be rooting for the Cowboys this postseason. I rarely enjoy watching a player as much as I like watching Dez Bryant.

Really happy that Forte got the record. Only member of the organization that deserves to have his season remembered in a positive way.
