It's a good list, but my first reactions were that I don't understand why "Shoo-Be-Doo-Da-Day" is so high, and "What Christmas Means To Me" is missing.

I agree with adding "Virginia Plain", and while less essential than VP, I'd add "Do the Strand" too. I was going to start with Lew's list and suggest adding those 2 songs and dropping "Oh Yeah" and "All I Want Is You". But I can also see Ryan's suggestion of adding "Angel Eyes" and agree that "Take a Chance with Me" isn't essential. So starting with Ryan's list, I'd suggest replacing "Oh Yeah" with "Do the Strand".

On a Bryan Ferry solo list, I'd put "Let's Stick Together" at #2. It went to #4 in the UK, and judging by RYM and lastFM, seems to also have a lot of lasting popularity.

Here are 2 other lists that I'd like to comment on:



First of all, "Miss World" is on the Hole list twice. So one of its entries must be replaced, and I suggest it be replaced with "Teenage Whore". Here's what I'd suggest for Hole:

I think that #2 & 3 are about the same, and that there are songs not on the list about equally deserving as the last two.

I don't see any way that the entries at 9 & 10 should make the Ryan Adams list, and surely “Come Pick Me Up” is deserving, possibly as high as #2. So I'd drop "Chains of Love" and "Fix It", fill one of the vacated positions with CPMU, and probably fill the other with either “Wonderwall” or “Two”. I'd say “La Cienega Just Smiled”, “When the Stars Go Blue”, and “Oh My Sweet Carolina” are slightly less deserving than “Wonderwall” and “Two”, but more deserving than what's currently at #9 and 10.

And even though "I Want More" isn't among the group's more celebrated work, personally I think its popularity is enough to get it tagged on the list, even if toward the bottom.

I am steeped in Can, so I'll contribute. It's not my favorite, but I'm surprised that Mother Sky is at 5, as I recall it is important in some way.

If I were to include anything from Future Days, it would be Bel Air. When I first heard it, I did not like Spoon that much, but now I love it. I also think Thief is one of their best songs.
