Some good Jaqen theories floating around. He may have disguised himself as Arya to see what the Waif would do.

I agree. The show is ruthless and doesn't care who dies, but the deaths are always in service of the plot, and hers would be a pretty empty death without any real repercussions.

How about that Blackfish?! What a bad ass. Both Lannister twins getting reamed was satisfying, and oooh mama could you feel the rage boiling inside Cersei at the close of that scene. The next episode looks quite violent.

Fucking love the Blackfish. Looks like he likely gives up the siege and Brienne takes him north to help his niece (a non book thing but good)

Was hoping for a bit more of Ian McShane than that.

Also Arya.

Same. I've had to settle for re watching Deadwood.

He would have absolutely dominated in the role of Euron...

Not sure I buy that contextually. Why would he need to retest a faceless man? Nevertheless in the series as is I could see it

This goddamit. These assassins are contradictory dicks.

If Arya dies her whole plotline will be wasted because we've been waiting for it to build up to something (even though we're uncertain as to what). I mean she hasn't really accomplished much in the whole series, just been wandering about since the end of season 1.

Also if Jaqen was impersonating Arya I think they would have shown that at the end of the episode. Another thing: didn't the Waif cut Arya's throat before stabbing her? Arya didn't have any marks after that (I may be wrong though).

I think she was going to try and cut her throat but Arya threw herself over.

Arya won't die, at least not from those wounds.

arya has too much "plot armor" to die right now.

so margaery is definitely playing the high sparrow right? that's what the rose illustration she gave to the queen of thorns indicated?

That's what I understood, and it's damn cool. She must also be playing Tommen though, that's harsh.

I haven't seen the most recent episode (the fuck am I doing in this thread amirite), but the scene with her and Loras makes it obvious that she is playing the high sparrow regardless of what happened in yesterday's episode.

Those wounds are almost certainly lethal. She needs help, likely of the supernatural kind, if she is to survive them.

Oh, she's certainly playing the High Sparrow, but not because of the Loras scene. Loras asked her to give in, after all.
