Don't post much these days, but had to post this.

One of the most original virtuoso displays I've seen in a long time. Obviously a Jeff Beck influence, but if possible, taken to a new level.

This one of the best guitar seminars i've seen in a while, worth a watch if you have the time. Interestingly he talks about being a 'guitaristic' player or kinaesthetic player which is different to a lot of other players these days who try to distance themselves from that. There is a great bit in there where he takes the melodic contours of cliche phrases then changes the notes around but maintains the contour. He also does a Carl Verheyen type thing and picks two random notes and aims to get from one note to another in interesting ways.

At least Wylde is trying to be melodic. Yngwie is just diarrhea-ing notes trying to outdo him.

This Generation Axe tour is probably going to yield some pretty interesting videos.

Right? I think that's what makes it one of my favorite videos from the tour so far.

I'm really tempted to buy a ticket and head down to Madison to see a show. Whether or not the music they make is good, they are at least entertaining to watch play and interact with each other.
