Seriously, it's the moonlight sonata, not the fifth symphony. Although, really, this is supposed to be a SONGS tournament, and the moonlight sonata is not a song. Of course, neither is Hobo Ho. Nor my nomination of the peter gunn theme, for that matter.

now we're getting into songs that i like but i've overplayed vs songs that are fresher but i'm more ambivalent towards... but i'll go with "when the levee breaks" and "moonlight sonata".

I actually was tempted for Joni cause The River has been one of my recent faves, and against some other Zeppelin songs I'd have done so , but not the monster that is Levee ....

Baba is a fantastic song, but strangely not one of my top 3 from the Who, and Moonlight just sounded sublime at this point....

i would guess he meant that a song has to be sung by a human voice.

while we're on the subject, we had songwriter auditions at my university today, and the ads specifically said "no instrumentals".
