If I counted correctly, we now have a total of 179 honorable mentions. As I said above, I think it's best to limit it to a maximum of 100, so in my opinion, we have to select 79 definitive drop-outs

Hmm, maybe I'm fine with limiting it to 150 actors as well... It becomes really hard to exclude actors. By the way, if the 5 earlier mentioned list makers make the list, Horst Buchholz, John Cazale, Minoru Chiaki, Kevin Costner and Udo Kier will be added to honorable mentiones as well. This means that, if we limit it to 150 actors, we have to remove 34 names from the honorable mentions section...

I'm still thinking about the honorable mentions section. Is a section of 150 names not just too big? Maybe it's a lot to ask since we've been busy with this list for a couple of months now, but we can turn it into a top 500 if we take the 184 actors and add 16 more names to them, and then rank them accordingly. I personally feel that that would look better: an overall list of 500 names without an honorable mentions section. But if we do that, we'll have to rank another 200 actors. Not sure if everybody feels like it, myself included to be honest.
