Yes, that Hunger Strike is fantastic! I have Cornell's 2009 Atlanta show and his voice is in pretty great form there too...

Damn, those were real clean. He was in great shape vocally in '07 from everything I've listened to.

Anyway, lately this has been cementing it's position as one of my favourite vocal performances of all time.

Always loved this one, didn't get why no one ever talks about it around here! Ditto for Fell On Black Days.

Superunknown in general is waaaaaay underrated vocally around these parts. It's easily as good as BMF imo, just alot more restrained. 4th of July is my fav performance from that album probably.

Probably because it's not so in-your-face awesome like BMF. Much more subtle.

I dont think its as good as BMF, but it is a different album vocally for sure.

To this:

For sure, that was the best he's sung that song in a while. Also, is it just me or does he look a little bigger, esp. in the arms?

He does indeed. The guy looks fucking great for 45, no homo. Sounds pretty fucking great too. Is it just me though or do Ben Cameron's backing vocals sound goofy as hell?

On another note, is this cover a joke?

 I wouldn't be laughing if this kid hadn't been saying on the Soundgarden forums that singing Soundgarden perfectly is "easy" for him.

Yeah I'd probably do him, no homo. And do you mean Matt Cameron? Yeah, I guess now that you mention it, he does sound kinda weird.

What the fuck was that  ? Not that I could do much better, but he had to have been joking. Did you hear that noise he made before the chorus? , fucking really weird.

Yeah, Matt. Ben Shepherd meets Matt Cameron. My bad.

Yeah that cover is hilarious. That "kwaaaah" before the chorus just cracks me up.

These threads he's made on the SG forums are gold.
