Oh boy...now we are getting controversial. I really don't agree with Doom > FF7, I know Doom is the first FPS and one of the most important games of all time, but FF7 is responsible for massively popularizing JRPG games in the West, first with fully rendered 3D cutscenes, has great acclaim, sold extremely well, Cloud and Sephiroth are two of the most iconic characters in all of gaming, Aerith's death (spoiler!) is one of the most iconic scenes in gaming. I'm curious to see what the others think, but FF7 is a firm lock for the #3 slot imo.

I don't really like how FF6 and Super Metroid have been separated. I think Super Metroid should be higher, or FF6 should be lower maybe.

Doom 2 and Xcom seem a little generously high maybe? Don't really see why they are above System Shock, RE2, and Silent Hill

Sounds good, sorry didn't mean to get too excited, lol. Yes what an amazing decade, the top 20 alone is just filled with undisputed classics.
