More obnoxious: jj watt or russell wilson?

Tough call...edge to Watt just because Wilson is more on the corny side and Watt is more on the too serious meathead side[/]

They're both fake, one has no self-awareness which ups the meathead factor, the other is completely in on the ruse and is a false humility machine, which makes him more annoying on a different level...I'm going to have to go with Wilson on this, such a phony.

Detroit almost blew it, but I was entertained so whatever.

Favorite moment of the 1pm games: rg3. Man, just when you think he finally figured out to protect himself it's like he said, "hey, any defensive backs I can smash into on my way out?" By no means do I cheer for an injury, but the way he blew himself up on the cusp of doing the right thing and the way he just crumpled to the turf sums up rg3 the same way the butt fumble sums up sanchez.

time to brag about the incomparable patriots. they just beat a super bowl contender whilst not having rob ninkovich, nate solder and oh, tom brady and gronk who are two top ten players in the nfl. earlier in this thread someone said that the success of the patiots is from brady, not belichick. well that has proven once again not to be the case. bill's undeniably the best coach in the league. there's no rason this can't team can't go 4-0 in brady's absence. jimmy g looked poised out there. hes going to get a nice starting gig next year. someone will probably give the pats a first round pick for him.

Also no Vollmer. Think the Cardinals had a bad early game plan and the Pats definitely identified some early weaknesses that were adjusted.

Garrapolo (fuck spelling this) looked pretty good. A bit prone to hold the ball but liked what he did. The offensive concepts (particularly running behind Bennett who is basically as good at Gronk as a run blocker) were well thought out. If Arizona adjusts a bit earlier you probably lose but it's a good win on the road. I seem to remember some NE fans on this board acting like the sky was falling before the year or how you weren't really the favorites in the AFC. As is obvious you certainly are.

No one in this thread incidentally said that the Pats success comes from Brady. Brady without Bellichick wouldn't be a 4 time SB winner. Bellichick without Brady likely doesn't have more than 2. It's a combo.

Pats are not trading Garrapolo either. Brady's too close to the end.

Alright then they can keep garopolo until bradys done. Let me know when he regresses to the point where he doesnt want to play anymore. Hes still a top 5 qb right now. I think that if they can get a first round pick for him they should. If its all system then it shouldnt really matter who their qb is. Theoretically theyd be competitive with jacoby brisett.

Keenan Allen seemed to be underrated in a lot of phantasy drafts so I got him in 2 of my 3 leagues. Now this shit happens.

Pretty much. Part of me feels bad for RGIII for the way he was treated in Washington after being their Jesus. The other part of me thinks he's just a fucking weird guy that needs to get out of his own head. The only person that gives a shit whether or not he can out-muscle a corner is RGIII.

I don't know how to post the video directly here, but it's worth clicking on the link and watching it. It's a radio announcer's call when a drunk fan ran onto the field during the SF/LA game.

If this comes down to what Brady wants, it's going to be an ugly split. He's not going to be where he is now when, as crx pointed out, this contract is actually up.

I don't think it matters whether or not you trade jimmy g, because unless he's an absolute stud this whole thing is done in 2 years.

No one said it's all system. I think they've got a guy they liked. And yeah Brady was a top 5 QB last year. So was Manning in his year 38 season. In his year 39 season he was not. Don't expect something that dramatic to happen to Brady this year but it can go quick.
