100 Greatest Arcade Games

Post by Ryan »

Somehow we don't have this list yet, and we should. I think we can get to 100 with this.

Similar criteria to the other lists, but only the arcade version and none of the console ports should be considered. Also, Playchoice-10 games do not count.

Here are the arcade games on the 100 Greatest Video Games list

3. Tetris (there is an arcade Tetris, but it shouldn't be #1 on this list)
7. Pac-Man
9. Street Fighter II (maybe separate listings for some of the revisions? Super Street Fighter II Turbo, still played on the competitive fighting game circuit to this day should at least be listed separately)
11. Space Invaders
15. Pong
35. Donkey Kong
45. Mrs. Pac-Man
46. Asteroids
100. Contra
104. Galaga
129. Mortal Kombat II
131. Missile Command
142. Galaxian
146. Frogger
151. Double Dragon

200. OutRun
203. R-Type
