Sorry: It was once easier to make a forum account here at DDD.
But then the spammers came and put in threads, topics, and ads, for porn, casinos, hundreds of links, gibberish with keywords and links for greater search engine ranking, and so on.
Plus the trouble making idiots who find it fun to disrupt the ongoing topic conversation.
