Would Herb Alpert belong in the Jazz albums?

When possible, please use existing threads rather than starting a new one. In this case, for instance, there's a Jazz Albums thread, so since you thought that Alpert might have been jazz, you could have posted it in that thread.

Sorry, when it comes to other genres besides rock/pop or even country... I just get lost... I almost said "could Herb Alpert be Fusion" My step dad called it fusion. I always thought he was a cross between Latin and Jazz... I probly just should've worded the title "what Genre is Herb Alpert?".... sorry about that...
