I'd probably keep Père Goriot/Les Misérables/Dead Souls/Bleak House over Sons and Lovers and maybe even over Le Morte d'Arthur/Utopia, looking at my old list.

Tom Jones being so high and the highest picaresque novel, a Spanish invention with Lazarillo de Tormes, Guzmán de Alfarache or El buscón, makes me sad.
