I'd have Shangri-Las higher than that. If He's a Rebel isn't being included then I think Shangri-Las are more acclaimed while popularity and influence are rather close and I think influence might lean towards Shangri-Las as well. I'd also say they're clearly more acclaimed and popular than Big Daddy Kane and Giorgio Moroder, more popular and influential than Janelle Monae. I'd have them right behind Tame Impala.

I think this is too much combining now. Some I think were decided to be too far apart to combine them (Lennox/Eurythmics, Cher/S&C), some seem unnecessary additions (mentioning Yoko Ono on Lennon's entry), others make it seem like we're excluding large parts of an artist's career (mentions of The Famous Flames and The Revolution, what about New Power Generation?), still others now include relatively insignificant solo careers with an infinitely more significant band (Fogerty, Byrne). Not a fan of any of these changes.

Well, I used Bruce's popular music list as a template plus some other combined entries suggested here over the time plus some were mine ideas admittedly. Do we list Robins first cause of chronology or Coasters first as the more significant artist of two?
