Lew said that he would make a separate page for the guitarists list, I presume because it's George's list. I would have thought that would have gone up by now. I'll PM him to make sure that he didn't forget.

I know they are not musicians per se but I have come up with the lists for ballet dancers, split by gender. Criteria were the usual: influence, acclaim, popularity.

I don't know much about ballet dancers, but I imagine those are good lists. Ballet dancers are kind of a miscellaneous category - not musicians, and not really athletes either. They fit here as well as anywhere.
