I don't know if I can agree with this - there are interviews of Portman talking about how Star Wars basically (temporarily) derailed her career and had a very hard time finding work after it premiered. It wasn't until Mike Nichols cast her in "Closer" and she received critical acclaim that it led to other roles.

Yeah, I was a bit skeptical of that as well.

I guess a better way of putting it would be Star Wars boosting her fame while also hurting her acting career prospects so my bad putting it on acting list.
