This may just be my ignorance, but, to be perfectly honest, I don't think I could even name one Humble Pie song without looking it up.

I don't think there's any case at all for Humble Pie being in the Hall. There must be over 100 eligible artists not yet inducted that are more deserving than Humble Pie, including all 17 artists on this year's ballot.

I can at least see the argument for all the people he chose and his reasoning seems fairly sound as well.

Agreed, and he included who I think are the 4 most deserving artists on his ballot, and his other 3 are all worthy of consideration.
