I feel like a very large appeal of the movie was the music, to the point that it was released in theaters specifically as a sing-along. Its placement is pretty justified the more I think about it.
I agree. You heard those K-Pop Demon Hunters songs out in the wild, on the radio, even if you never interacted with the movie. It's as much of a culture dominating soundtrack for 2025 as Saturday Night Fever was for 1977.

K-Pop Demon Hunter's popularity is also an extension of the popularity of the movie, something that has to be taken into account.
Also, Margo Price is there twice.
Thank you, I added Benson Boone in the exact place of the duplicate Margo Price.

Looks pretty good at first glance, I'd have Alex Warren somewhere in there.
In the next group. The Alex Warren album did pretty badly critically, and I wonder about the lasting appeal of a nothing song like "Ordinary", which is too slight for me to even have an opinion on it. But the album was a hit, and it'll be in the Top 100 whether critics, or I, like it or not.

I'm still looking for feedback on the Top 100 I posted last week. I'm planning on sending this list to Lew around the end of the week.
After this is up, I'll send him the revisions to the 2010s lists that I posted in here a while back.

I think Playboi Carti should be somewhere on there.
Cardi B and Karol G could be a bit higher.

I might have Olivia Dean ahead of Sabrina and Justin but other than that the list looks good.

I put the Olivia album between Sabrina and Justin.
