Bottom three are pretty loose, but I see a good amount of awards for People v. Larry Flynt that far exceeds to the others. Primal Fear and Fight Club could go either way.

I thought most of these are for 1996 as a whole so Primal Fear/Everyone Says I Love You/Larry Flynt rather than for Larry Flynt specifically. Guess I am not opposed to it being on the list though.

Re: Macbeth, I have seen people online rave about it as one of his best though it's true it lacks award recognition of, say, Steve Jobs.

Not that previous lists are gospel but both mine/Bruno's 2000s list and Man's revision had Sideways/Cinderella Man > American Splendor.

I would stand strongly behind American Splendor for Giamatti, not least of which is that it is a more centralized performance. Being his "breakout" role doesn't hurt either in this case considering the amount of acclaim it garnered.
