I'm weighting all 3 equally, so I'll probably switch them.Zach wrote: Sun Aug 24, 2025 11:24 pmI agree that NGE has advantages in acclaim and influence. If all three criteria are weighted equally, I'd lean toward placing SpongeBob higher, since its popularity is simply gargantuan -- on top of strong acclaim and influence. However, if you give more weight to acclaim and influence, putting NGE above makes sense.ManPerson wrote: Sun Aug 24, 2025 7:59 pm I'd say NGE takes acclaim and influence over SpongeBob, though it could definitely be argued that SpongeBob takes popularity by enough to take the matchup.

Re: Greatest Television Shows of All Time
I'm wondering if Death Note is a little high. I don't know if it truly beats Chappelle's Show, for instance. The latter could be just low, too.
Firefly seems somewhat high as well. A beloved cult classic with some influence on sci-fi, but more niche compared to other shows in that range.

Re: Greatest Television Shows of All Time
Moved Chappelle Show above Vampire Diaries and moved Firefly below Grey's Anatomy. Moved Death Note and FMA:B below The Shield and The Office.Zach wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 8:53 pm Looking good, all in all.
