Would your remedy be moving Jackie Chan higher or Louis de Funes/Toto lower, both maybe?

All 3 seem fairly close to Brynner/Heston/McQueen/Rooney/Karloff, maybe...
108. Jackie Chan
109. Yul Brynner
110. Charlton Heston
111. Steve McQueen
112. Toto
113. Mickey Rooney
114. Boris Karloff
115. Louis de Funes

Jackie Chan moving over Bruce Lee though? I'd think Bruce Lee narrowly wins every criterion but the body of work.

I'd say
Acclaim: Tie
Popularity: Tie/Leaning towards Lee
Influence: Bruce Lee
Body of Work: Jackie Chan fairly easily

Ok, Lee probably wins here, maybe he should be higher though. Small body of work, but his popularity and influence are very strong and while he never won many awards he's definitely fairly highly respected.

I'd say he should be back to back with Errol Flynn
Acclaim: Close
Popularity: Lee
Influence: Leaning towards Lee
Body of Work: Flynn fairly easily

Tied for acclaim? In his short career I don't believe Lee won or was nominated for any awards. Chan has won many major awards, for acting as well as stunt work, including one in Shanghai literally named for him

Considering his award resume is stronger than I would've assumed, Chan could probably be even higher.

Comparing him to BIll Murray for example
Acclaim: Leaning towards Murray
Influence: Chan
Popularity: Chan fairly easily
Body of Work: Murray fairly easily

Comparing him to Depp
Acclaim: Depp
Influence: Chan
Popularity: Chan
Body of Work: Depp

So, I'd have him at 76.

Some more suggestions

- I could see Mifune a couple spots higher,

vs Newman
Acclaim: Newman
Popularity: Close
Influence: Mifune
Body of Work: Mifune close

vs Bogart
Acclaim: Close
Popularity: Leaning towards Bogart
Influence: Mifune
Body of Work: Bogart

- I'd have John Wayne higher as well. In terms of popularity and body of work he's pretty much second to none and while he's hardly the most acclaimed actor, he was still a highly beloved figure in hollywood with a decent awards resume. I'd also credit him with significant influence for spearheading the western genre's peak from the late 1930s through the 1950s.

Comparing him to Jack Lemmon
Acclaim: Lemmon fairly easily
Popularity: Wayne fairly easily
Body of Work: Wayne fairly easily
Influence: Wayne

Comparing him with Fonda
Acclaim: Fonda
Popularity: Wayne
Body of Work: Wayne close
Influence: Wayne

And with DDL
Acclaim: DDL easily
Popularity: Wayne easily
Body of Work: Wayne fairly easily
Influence: Wayne

Comparing him with Mastroianni
Acclaim: Mastroianni fairly easily
Popularity: Wayne fairly easily
Body of Work: Wayne fairly easily
Influence: Mastroianni close

so I'd have him at #15

- I'd have Denzel two spots higher as I see him as very comparable with Hanks, Denzel's more acclaimed and influential, while Hanks has stronger popularity and body of work.

- With One Battle After Another, Leo could possibly get moved even higher, but we should probably wait until after awards season

- I'd also have Clint Eastwood a bit higher, some of the most iconic roles in film history while helping to popularize the spaghetti western, with a very strong body of work as well. I'd have him right behind Clark Gable

- I'd have Alain Delon > Gassman

Acclaim: Gassman
Influence: close
Popularity: Delon
Body of Work: Delon

I'd maybe rearrange 45-56 to be
45. Orson Welles
46. Harold Lloyd
47. Sean Connery
48. Alain Delon
49. Robert Duvall
50. Anthony Quinn
51. Vittorio Gassman
52. Rudolph Valentino
53. George C. Scott
54. Robert Redford
55. Montgomery Clift
56. James Dean

- I'd have Douglas Fairbanks a couple spots higher. When compared with Colman, he takes popularity and influence while Colman takes acclaim, with body of work being pretty much a tie. When compared with Linder, he takes popularity and body of work, while Linder takes influence, acclaim seems close. I also think it makes sense for him to be right next to the Penn/Hoffman/Oldman group, as he takes popularity and influence, while they take acclaim and body of work, with none of these categories being particularly close.

- I'd have Tom Cruise quite a bit higher. He seems pretty much neck and neck with Ford as popularity and influence are close, Ford wins body of work and Cruise wins acclaim.

- I'd have Robin Williams a bit higher, his wins in popularity and influence seem more fundamental than Kingsley/March/Mason's in acclaim and body of work.

- I'd have Noiret a bit lower, strong acclaim, but he doesn't seem to do all that well in the other categories. I could even see a swap with him Trintignant and Leung who have similar acclaim and a much stronger bodies of work.

I.e.
82. Trintignant
90. Leung
97. Noiret

- I'd have Bale even higher than you moved him up. Not much influence, but he's clearly more acclaimed than the 7 guys above him, and he holds his own in popularity and body of work (and in many cases his body of work is much stronger). I'd have him right above Pitt, with acclaim going to Bale, body of work going to Pitt, while everything else seems close.

- I'd also have Bardem even higher. He seems very comparable with Harris and Fiennes, for example.

- I'd have Ian Mckellen a bit higher. When compared with Muni, everything seems pretty close but I'd give McKellen body of work. When compared with Douglas, McKellen takes acclaim, Douglas takes popularity, I'd lean towards McKellen taking acclaim as well.

- I'd have Jim Carrey in the top 150. Huge star in his prime + some very acclaimed performances. I'd give him acclaim, and possibly popularity as well, over Rock Hudson while everything else is close. I'd say RDJ is very close to both of them as well.

- I'd have Bing Crosby higher, one of the biggest stars of his day + 3 Academy Award nominations and 1 win, indicating a bit of acclaim as well. None of his films or performances are all that well remembered today, so probably not quite top 150, but I'd say he's comparable with Neeson and Smith.

- I agree with Dubrow's earlier suggestions of adding Craig and Brody. I also think Chalamet has enough acclaim and popularity to make the list as well (though we should probably wait and see how Marty Supreme does in awards season).

It looks like I accidentally switched Leaud out for Leung instead of Trintignant. I'll fix that.

I would support virtually of these changes. I'd also like to consider giving a slot to Brendan Fraser somewhere on the list.
