Oh, the "I'll take it" was for the overall list not the list for this group.

1. The Del-Vikings
2. Lesley Gore
3. Fatboy Slim
4. Coolio
5. Garbage
6. Death Cab for Cutie
7. Rosco Gordon
8. Don Covay
9. Tyrone Davis
10. Dyke & the Blazers

I'd have the Del-Vikings right behind Kurtis Blow and I don't think Coolio is quite worthy. Dinosaur Jr would be more acclaimed and influential, for example.

Otherwise, I like it.

I'm thinking we underrated Vampire Weekend a bit. More acclaimed and popular than the Sparks, not far behind The Black Keys in popularity and clearly more acclaimed. More acclaimed and popular than The Sonics as well, though in that case the win in influence is pretty huge. I'd have them close to Bon Iver and LCD Soundsystem.

I'd add Florence + the Machine to the list of contenders.

Simon Kirke too. That's half the band.

I posted this upcoming bunch not knowing that you were aiming for a top 500. I think there will hardly be anybody else coming up I myself would consider worthy of a top 500 rank. So, don't go through all of those cause you want to do me a favor but if you think there's still a few diamonds among them, go ahead.

Lucky Millinder should have been in brackets for being a very fringe rock artist. I wouldn't have him on the main list at all.
